Dust Matting
The removal of dust and debris from entrance mats. These should be used at all entrances in order to remove most of the grit and dirt from shoes.
Equipment:
- Daily Vacuum Cleaner & Periodically a Carpet Cleaner or Rotary c/w bonnet mop
- Warning Sign – “cleaning in progress”
- Detergent
Method:
- Erect warning sign
- Vacuum the matting
- Lift the matting and Dust sweep underneath
- Bonnet Mopping will remove surface dirt, use an Extraction Carpet Cleaner to ‘deep clean’ the matting.
Beware:If you don’t clean the dust matting, dirt will track onto the floor, scratching and damaging the polish.
Recommended Chemicals:Flying Colours for bonnet mopping, a low foaming Extraction Cleaner for deep clean.
